Passenger seat like drivers drive dynamic seat?
Is there a seat available for the passenger that is like the 432 Drive Dynamic Multicontour Drivers Seat with Massage?

US/Canadian seats use a different weight sensing system (for airbag deployment) than European models. A multicontour passenger seat was never developed for E-Class Sedan/Wagons destined for North America due to high development costs/low take rates.

The S has it for both driver and passenger. What an odd thing for MB to omit from the options list on the E. What were they thinking?

The 2013 GL package comes with the massage feature on both seats. However its not "dynamic" like the E, where it moves and grips you through the corners...

1) Americans typically buy lightly-equipped MBs that lease out cheap (ie: cars with only P1)
2) Leather is optional in American E350s (volume model) to keep the price down (see #1), and the multicontour seats in the W/S 212 only work in conjunction with leather
3) Overall take rate of multicontour seats given #1 and #2 is very low. Cost/benefit to develop passenger seat not feasible.
The S-Class is in a different league, and the GL shares the seats with the ML which are designed for Multicontour functionality with either leather or ARTICO, making the investment much more justifiable.

The logic goes as follows:

I had a 2011 E350 with the TEX multicontour seat too.
I also remember seeing a picture of an E with both front seats as multicountour.
The text, "Das Multikontursitz-Paket enthält Multikontursitze für Fahrer und Beifahrer,Sitzkissenlänge und seitliche Lehnenstütze einstellbar", is a direct quote from the German MB site for the multicontour seat package. It says it includes it for both front seats so no development needed, the seat already exists.
Perhaps in some other part of this world, like in Germany perhaps, the option includes it for both front seats.
