new member, just got a 2010 E550 coupe
i just picked up a 2010 E550 coupe.
bought it in North Carolina and drove it home to texas.
it only had 4500 miles, it like brand new.
very happy with this vehicle.
still learning about all the features, buttons etc. got the phone working yesterday, hooked up the ipod.
i might tint the windows as the sun is very strong here.
what do i need to know? it still is under warranty for another few months. i am wondering if i should get the extended warranty?
the car is loaded with features and i would think all those electronic features would be very expensive to fix if something goes wrong?
is it worth getting the warranty, and if so what can i expect to pay for it?

I have a 2010 E550 sedan and I’m in the same boat as you as far as warranty is concerned. I have very little miles on the car but I think ultimately I will purchase the extended 3 year 75,000 mile warranty that Mercedes has offered me. The price I was quoted was $2,890 + tax. I think I will bite. I would hate to have any issue with airmatic or any other

Absolutely get extended warranty!
You obviously bought it from a private party as from a dealer it would have come as a CPO vehicle with another year and up to 100000 miles warranty.

to answer the idiot hyperion above, i changed what i drive because i sold my camaro, not that there was anything wrong with the camaro, i just wanted a change. when i joined the board i was driving a camaro, just dont have time to update everymove i make on the message board.
hyperion, i wouldnt do anything because of anything you say, how egotistical of you to think that. actually, i didnt really think you were making fun of me, or my camaro, more as if you were displaying what an ahole you are. anyone who would say anything like the **** that comes out of your mouth is to be pitied:
