Picked up MY 2013 E350 last Saturday
I saw it in Autotrader Friday, picked it up the next day in Escondido.
2013 E350 Sport, 2,700 miles, gray, P2, Lane tracking package, wheel package, flat bottom 3-spoke steering wheel, comfort box, split folding rear seats for $46,500.I'm very happy. Carfax checked.

I found it at a Lexus dealership. They said there was a rich old guy that's been driving a Lexus but decided to change brand to MB. He got overwhelmed by different controls and functions of Command and doesn't have time to learn all of those. He decided to go back to Lexus brand and traded in his new MB. I think the story is believable.
Lexus sales people doesn't know about MB cars and I keep asking if it has a P2 package before I visit their place. Nobody can give me an answer but the giveaway in the picture is the headlight washer. I drove 2 hours to check it out and can't hide my smile when I also found out about the keyless-go and electronic trunk closer. P2 confirmed! I grabbed it right away because there are other people in their appointment log coming in to check it out. Actually I was able to negotiate it down to $45,500. Easiest negotiation I have ever done.

That's a great price and a believable story. I know of such a rich older retired guy that tends to trade in vehicles every few months. He would buy a new car (usually fairly well loaded and special ordered) try it for a few months, find he doesn't like it and trade it in for something else and take a big loss. His most recent example was trading a lexus LS460L that was only 6 months old and had 1k miles on it, for a lexus SUV. He found the low riding position of the LS gave him back aches, so he traded it for a higher SUV. The LS460L had a MSRP around $100k, and he paid around $90k for it, 6 months later the same dealer gave him $58k trade value. He took a $32k loss on 6 months but he didn't care.
Last I heard, he didn't like the harsh ride of the SUV and traded it in for another LS460L.
I told him next time he wants to trade, to let me know, I'd gladly buy his "old" car off him for more than what the dealer will give him for trade.

Sounds like you know what you want, when you want it O/P: Went, demanded P2 (coming from another P2-is-a-must'er, thank you), liked it, bought it. Car buying as stressful as it can be, can be so liberating sometimes, when it all works out and your due diligence pays off.

With some good negotiating and at the right time you can get a P2 E350 down to almost those levels when new. This is a great scenario O/P has as the car got just broken in for him/her and gets to pick it up for a few g's under what would be considered a good negotiated brand new price.
Sounds like you know what you want, when you want it O/P: Went, demanded P2 (coming from another P2-is-a-must'er, thank you), liked it, bought it. Car buying as stressful as it can be, can be so liberating sometimes, when it all works out and your due diligence pays off.

hard to believe people at a lexus dealership could be so daft, they really let that one go for cheap. also to not even know about the options packages too, granted its not their brand but still if you are selling it you should do some research you would think, right??

Thanks Nuru! Folding seats is one of my "must" option but I can't figure out how to fold the seats so I thought this car doesn't have it. I figured, with this price and P2, I can live without it. When I drove the car, it gives me a warning that the rear seats are not properly latched...aha, another options dicovered

My first question now is what type of engine do I have? The maintenance booklet required service work at 40,000 miles is to change automatic transmission oil and filter for engine 273, 275...

A car with option package you got is not even easy to find! You still have full factory warrantee so you need not worry about anything but to enjoy. You lucky man!!!
