FS: SprintBooster for 2010 E350 Auto Trans.

All

Within a week or so my 2014 E350 will arrive and I'm removing this mod from my 2010 E350 before I give it back to MB.

http://www.sprintboostersales.com/de...0or%2520Diesel

This SprintBooster has been working perfectly as advertised, and I am selling it as it won't work on the 2014.

PM me your best offers and post any questions.

Interesting. Do you know what was changed for 2014 (for E350s specifically) that it won't work while working perfectly for 2010-2012 E350s?

Really? Amazing. The horsepower increase was made for 2012 model year. The engine in 2014 is identical to 2012. I have the same SpringBooster (part number SBME0012S) in both E350s - one in 2010 and one in 2012. FYI: engine has nothing to do with SprintBooster, its the pedal. I know there were issues with E550s originally, but never with E350s.

The engine in the 2014, 2013 and the 2012 are NOT identical. I can guarantee you that because I have a 2013 and it makes a clicking noise, then thumping and vibration/rattle in the gas and brake pedal EVERY single time you restart the car and slowly drive to 8 MPH.

the 2014's DO NOT have this same problem so its obvious the engineers changed something and eliminated that sound I am getting.

For the purpose of my statement (a reply to a previous post related to horsepower) the engines are the same: producing identical horsepower and torque and having same configuration and displacement. The changeover to DI engines took place for 2012 MY.

The only reason I see SprintBooster from 2012 and earlier (do not know why 2013 is not listed) would not fit 2014 models is due to "Eco" start system, which was not available on E in prior years and might require software modification and/or a different chip inside SprintBoster's part.

To the poster above inquiring about this specific part fitting '08 ML - it will not.
See here: http://www.sprintbooster.us/Mercedes_Boosters.html The part number that you need is SBME0002S which fits all 2000-2010 MBs with AT except W212, W207, W204 and X204.

Whats your price? I dont think this increases horsepower on the naturally aspirated 2010 w212? In your experience does it guarantee performance increase? at least with throttle response?

No horsepower increase, just a noticeable decrease in throttle lag. Take a look at their site (http://www.sprintboosterusa.com/c-408-at.aspx) and PM me an offer if you're interested.
