Question W212 with BI-Xenon, Parking/City lights??

I have a Mercedes Benz 2010 model (w212) with BI-Xenon and the intelligent light system in my car.

I'm now wondering if anyone has a clue on what kind of light bulb that sits in the parkinglights on a w212 with bi-xenon and if it's possible to get it swapped out?

The color of the parklights in my car has a warm white color (with a little yellow shade in it). I wanted to have a bulb that matches the color of the xenon bulbs with color temperature around 5000k-6000k on the parkinglights, anyone have a solution?

I have taken a quick look at the bulb and for me it looks like a green little plate that is fitted very strongly in the lamp. Tried to get it out but it sits so good that i didnt wanted to put muscle on it and break something :/

Sorry for my bad english

I don't know. But, there might be Motor Vehicle laws that regulater the type or color that parking lights are allowed to be?

Correct. Not sure of where the OP is but his comment about "bad English" (which isn't bad at all) and the long license plate in his avatar leads me to believe that he isn't from North America.

Most European countries regulate the intensity of parking lights so that a passing motorist can easily differentiate between a parked car and a car idling at the curb with lights on.

To be honest, in the country I live in... the police don't give too much attention to parking lights and small details like that. Xenon and LEDs are like in almost every country very popular and I think its quite hard to see the difference between whats legal and whats not in the latest models of almost any car with DRL or just simple LEDs in the headlights.

After having a Toyota avensis looking like this (see attached pictures) in one year and never got bothered by the police, i think a pair of parking lights that matches my bi xenon will never ever create a problem for other traffic or me. Just wanted to know if anyone knew how to swap those out or just had a little experience with those By the way, I live in Norway.

Regardless of the legality involved.. its pretty much near impossible to change the city lights on bixenons anyways. Many people have tried on the forum and I don't think anybody have succeeded? If you have a solution I'm sure others are dying to know how.

Totally agree with you that it looks pretty impossible, but i was thinking about hearing about this situation from some of the mercedes dealers around the area I live so I just could get a idea of what the deal with that light is
I will post a solution as fast I find one and succeed with it
