How is the wood? I didn't see one without the problem when I was hunting. It is covered under waranty but backordered. Waiting 2 months and counting for mine.

Congratulation on your new car! Except for certain options, your car should be same as up to 2013. 42000 miles on diesel is nearly nothing so you'll enjoy the car like new. You have bought a nice car so enjoy it.

Yes, Josh. Based on the threads on this issue - as long as you are still under the manufacturer's warranty, you should be covered.
First step should be to contact your nearest MB dealer. Looks like there is a current back log as long as 2 months in some places?
You should snap some pictures, if available, so others with similar issues can compare. The few pics I've seen - the difference is vast.

I posted some of my wood trim in another thread. My order is in for the whole kit. 2010 - 12500 miles, mostly garaged.

Hello All..I bought a 2010 E350 last April as my retirement gift. It has 49,000 miles when I got it and added 1,000 miles to date. Now I'm getting a notice Service Code "A3". Could any anyone tell me if that is just an oil change or is it more? Thanks!

check front struts / upper mounts , cracking noise from front suspension especially on turns ( i have 25k miles )
looks like common issue with these cars , was chasing this issue for the last 2 months
next week I have appointment with dealer lets see what he said
i did 3d party inspection and they all pointed on upper mounts failure ( or struts itself )
Dealer don't want to look into this even ... but i'll get it fixed

Congrats and read second thread here re: Bulletins. Very long, but well worth the time to make sure nothing should have been done that wasn't. BTW, the Comand updates can be problematical. I wouldn't get the nav. update unless you really, really need it.
