2013 was $1629. Can't imagine the 2014s being much more if at all.

At my dealer they wanted $1989.00 for 4 years/40k, fixed price, non negotiable.

Sounds about right. IIRC it cost around $2300 for a 5 year service plan for my 2011 E550. Given direct injection and turbos it could cost a little more for the newer W212 V8 cars.

you will get two Service A and two service B

as long as they will do all the maintenance it well worth it

I mean transmission flush and brake fluid flush and all other maintenance in the manual called out.

careful cause no use paying for it if they say that is not included

transmission flush not part of either A or B it is $extra$-
you are about $500 ahead to say no and get all done by a competent service bay elsewhere.
At MB you are paying someone $145/hr to lubricate your hood latches and door hinges - no thanks.

I am being offered 2yr/20K prepaid service plan for $449.85
or
3yr/30K for $771.68

I have a 2012 E350 Coupe that I just bought with 19,800 miles.
the dealer I bought it from just performed B service and did the Brake fluid flush

are these good deals or am I better off just paying for services as I go ?
I should also add that I do not put over 10K miles per year on my vehicles.... so I am not sure if the service plans would expire before I would have a chance to use them..

Suggestions , thoughts ??

Thanks

the 2 year for $449 isn't a bad deal. the 3 year for 771 is an additional 330 for essentially an extra service A which usually is around $200. so the 3 year is not a good deal

I also do not put more than 10k on my car per year. But the service schedule is 10k or 1yr whichever comes first. So if you plan to keep the car for 3yrs regardless of miles then you will use them.

I would take that 2yrs deal, if they were to take off at least $80 of the 3yrs then I would take it.

I think you have a good point, the 2yr/20K is probably the better deal, and I think I will get it.
