Watching TV from my E350

I am new to this arena, can someone tell me how to watch TV from my 2010 E350? Please give me various options. Also, how do I activate VIM? Is there a hack or do I need to buy a cable and install? I am new here so be patient, lol.

Looks like you just signed up an account to ask one question, one of those hit it and quit it type of subscribers. We aren't a one-night stand type of forum LOL Do a search bro...

Why so harsh "bro" ? That was rude. I'm here to ask alot of questions and to maybe help others as well. You need to learn manners. If you can't help than fine, just say so. I've never been treated like that on a forum before.

I think the option the rest of us in the world would rather you do the following:
  1. Place flat screen TV in your living room window facing the driveway.
  2. Back your E350 out of the garage and into the driveway.
  3. Relax and enjoy.
TV belongs in the living room - not something going down the road at 80MPH.

Scenario, you're sitting in a parking lot waiting on your child to get out of class and there is a Beatles special in TV. Wouldn't it be nice to watch it? The VIM wouldn't allow me to watch it while driving anyway. Please, if someone doesn't have something helpful to say, don't respond. Are you two previous responders that obtuse?

Except that the letters in IM in VIM stand for "In Motion"... meaning you can watch while driving.

I'm being helpful. You never posted anything about only watching when parked, which is why I replied the way I did. It's not legal, it is dangerous and if you get into an accident with one of these devices installed and it comes up in an investigation you are screwed.

You posted on a forum, you are going to get all forms of opinions. If you expect that everything posted is going to agree with your viewpoint, you are the one who is being obtuse. Don't come here with 3 posts and start insulting members.

You want helpful? https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...o-command.html

I was insulted first. Not you. I don't have a viewpoint, just a question. I don't plan in driving with it on, indeed, the VIM wouldn't let me anyway. Ok, now that that is over, is there a nice ergonomic way of doing it?

Only work on listed models and years. It does work on my car but no plan to do that anymore...just use my phone to watch while waiting for kid, wife, etc.

Don't worry about 2006's comment. Pretty rude if I do say so myself...

Forum members come here in search of answers to their questions from other forum members... Nothing wrong in that...

I myself bought some type of attachment a couple years back when I first bought my car. Never got around to getting it installed. Just sitting in my trunk.

Its supposed to plug into the back of where the screen is located.

Supposedly with it I should be able to watch DVD. It also supposedly eliminates the need to be stationary to be able to use the Navi...

Ill try to find the name/model and where I purchased it from. Few hundred bucks...

I watch movies and I am able to use full function navi in my 2010. I am using the mod4cars box and it is working flawlessly.
