Hard shiffting 3rd-4th

Hard shifting of the 7 speed seems to be an erratic issue and the "brain" keeps trying to adjust the shift program to the driver's habits --- at least that's what MBZ says.
My 2011 E550 will shift with a WHAM! if I lift my foot OFF the gas just a little going up a moderate rise at ~25mph. Scares me re: the life of the tranny.

if you hadn't followed my thread.. new 2k14 with hard shifting 4-5, turned out to a be a valve body problem... on a brand new car no less.... new valve body fixed the problem, still with occasional hard shifts but not as bad as prior to the valve body.

I had some hard downshifts around 3rd / 4th gears while climbing hills and it got me worried. Later on I found that I wasn't giving enough gas. If I step on the gas while climbing this problem doesn't happen.

Bulletin referenced is LI27.19-P-056610 update TCU software validity 212 with 276 engine experiencing 4-3 4-5 complaints. Shift complaints were (for the most part) resolved by replacing valve body.

had the same problems with my 2010 e350. started at 40k. Took it in. said it was computer. make some 'adjs'. same symptoms. Made alot of noise with Regional Service Management and they changed the transmission. Well same thing started to occur at 70k. THey said it was the valve body, BUT it was not under warranty.
Traded for a 2013 e350.
