CPO extended warranty - Dealer Contacts
Has anyone purchased an extended CPO from an MB dealer recently that offered a good price for one and two year extensions. I would appreciate their contact information so i can call about my recently cpo'd 2011 E350 Bluetec
My Contact who sold me the extension on my SL is no longer at the dealer. He was at MB Stockton and i had bought my car at Autobahn Motors in California.

Good warranty...
Claudio - my AMG is at the shop right now having $10k worth of work done, covered by my warranty. ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I did a lot of research and decided to go with Fidelity. 3y/36m gold plus cost me $8400. This is my 3rd service issue, all were covered except a seat belt sensor and a set of bushings. They don't cover safety restraint, got a local mechanic to install for $500 including part. Bushings were not covered on my vehicle due to over 50K miles. $90 worth of parts and $150 install took care of that.
So my Fidelity warranty have more than paid for itself and this is just the first year. I'm very happy, they are a real warranty company. I called fidelity and they directed me to a local dealership that sold them, BMW in my area.
Hope that helps, good luck.

OK, I'm confused. I did a lot of research to make a good decision. I bought a beautiful but used sl55 amg. bit high performance. Negotiated an excellent price from a private owner at purchase, saving me about 5K. It was going to need repairs whether I bought the warranty or not. I know how to drive really fast but have no mechanical knowledge. :-)
Since May of this year, the repair costs have been $15K. Plus the cost of the warranty, I out of pocketed $750 in deductibles. The repairs were major and the type that give extended life to the vehicle. I still have 28K miles left on the warranty or 2.5 years.
My car insurance has free road side assistance. 2 of the repairs required tow-ins. If I didn't have the warranty or money to pay these expensive repairs, my car would have been at the shop, undriveable.
I had a friend that bought a more affordable warranty, from a less respectable company. Paid around 2K. Most of his repairs, the warranty company finds some way not to cover the repair. This hasn't been the case with the company I chose.
You guys must be in the fortunate group that can DYI your repairs. I couldn't afford to drive this car without the warranty...
unless I'm missing some important nugget of knowledge...
that someone would like to share, that I may have missed in my research prior to purchase. Appreciate any feedback pertaining to this.
Thanks!!

Sorry to hear Andrea...i wont buy from private owner because i want the dealer CPO and the option to purchase MB extended CPO rather than 3rd party. I know i pay a little more for the car but also i know that the car is clean and if ANYTHING is wrong i simply take it back and hand them the keys (cosmetic stuff not included of course).
For example on my current E350BT purchase production date was Aug 2011, resale Sept 2011. With CPO from dealer the warranty is 100K miles or Sept 2016.
The extension of two years is up to 135000 miles or Sept 2018.
If it was low mileage car you could have gone to a dealer and paid for a cpo to get a warranty and then tacked on.
Only from years of owning MB's i know this.
