Dealer loaners with facelift E350 Lux trim
I just got back from the dealership and noticed they have placed a lot of luxury trim E350W into the loaner fleet cars. It was mostly C250 (sedan/coupe) and GLK350.
Are you guys seeing the same thing at your local dealers.

Which dealer is this? The one in foothill ranch barely just got their fleet of C's.. I was trying to find a dealer with E350 around the SoCal area and Fletcher only has C's and GLK's too.

They still have plenty of C/GLKs as loaner. S/SL owners get first dibs on the Es

2014 E350 Wagon, 2025 GLC 350e, 2026 E53 Wagon
I just got an E350 Sport as a loaner with a bit over 4k miles on the odo. It's kind of weirdly optioned, has P1, Keyless-GO, folding rear seats and Distronic but no Lighting package, parktronic or leather on the inside. I must say I miss my multicontour seat already.
As to why am I driving a lonaer with only 600 miles on my car? A check engine light fault came up for a faulty air intake temperature sensor.

It looks like E is priced currently like C, so it is reasonable to replace C by E as loaners, Customers will be much more satisfied. I hated driving C as loaners, so I will get service at your dealership in case of problem with my car. Thanks for head up.

I wouldn't say only.
General policy customers should not expect an upgrade on loaner cars.
As always there are always exceptions made based on availability.
This reminds me of a guy at Beverly Hills service who brought in a SMART ForTwo and demanding the loaner desk to give him a E350 because he's trading in his SMART soon.

Yeah. I remember when I had my W163 ML320.
My car had so much issues that I get to know the loaner fleet manager and he gave me the newest car that enters the fleet. I really enjoy driving through two generations of C's W201-202 and Volvo S70 (back when Smythe European was a family owned dealer)

Build a good relationship with the service adviser, or whoever manages the loaner fleet.
My adviser will ask me if there is a specific vehicle I would like to have for loaner. He'll list what's available and let me pick.
So Far I've had two C250, a C300, a ML350, GLK350, and a E350 as loaners.

When I brought in my 2002 ML in Foot Hill Ranch for service, for $20.00/day more (C's are free), I picked a W212 as a loaner. I kept it overnight, and my wife was impressed with the ride. I ended up buying my own E350.
