Cool. My only concern is the C class being built here in Alabama. I for one do not want to buy a German car that was built in USA! I wonder if there will be an option to get one that is built in Germany... for e.g getting one with European Delivery. C400 looks very nice.

Oh no. That would defeat the purpose of buying a German car.

The C has been built in various locations for years, and, surprisingly, in the last quality report I saw, the best performing plant was not in Germany but in South Africa.

wow - if you guys think the fact that the next C will be built here... just wait until you realize that they have partnered with Nissan to help churn them out. that's right, some time in the near future a Nissan/Infiniti and a Mercedes will share the same engine.

S213 E450 4Matic, W111 220SE - prior cars: 3x W212, W210 E55 AMG, W202 C43 AMG, W126 300SE
Last new C I examined was built in London - South Africa. USA won't be a problem. I've read new C will launch in the US with C250 and C400 - I'd like more info on C250 Bluetec for the hinterland that is the NA market.

Just so long as MB doesn't get dopey Nisfiniti styling or the douchey exhaust drone.
