20" Rim fitment
Hello everyone.
I found some used rims that is coming off a W211. Its a really aggressive size and was wondering if it will fit on my 2014 e350. Front: 20x10 +32, Rear: 20x11 +32. Also will be lowering the car about 1.6" and am wondering if there will be any rubbing or any issues. Please help, very new to this forum.
Thanks

I doubt they will fit! I have XO Miami 20" wheels on my W211. 8.5 fronts and 10 on rear. If you are talking about putting 10's on front and 11's on back, I'd be very worried about the fronts. Call a local rim shop and tell them the size rim and tire that's on them!

Hello, I have a 3003 E-320 W211
Comes with 16" factory rims!
I installed 19x8.5x112 front and 19x9.5x112 rear
So I'll explain what happen!! I used tires 245/40R19 front and 255/40R19 rear, with those tires the front ones rubbed with the suspension and the rear ones completely threw off the computer and all my dash warning lights turned on, abs, esp, brakes, etc! And as I drove the car out of the shop the trans would not shift into second gear, drove back to the shop and they had to reset the computer and cleared all warning codes, removed the tires and installed 235/35R19 front. And. 265/30R19 in rear car works great,
So be careful if you installing 20"s make sure you do your home work on what size tires to use because you might have a problem, good luck !!!!

They will fit, only because of those ridiculously stretched tires.. I was actually hesitant commenting on this thread because your considering putting that set up on your car.. I don't recommend it

I was also looking into 20x10 front and 20x10.5 rear. Will need to stretch tires for sure to fit. It will look pretty sick with that aggressive stance. Let us know how it goes and post some pics.

Be sure to get some sort of tire/wheel insurance unless all of the roads in your area are smooth and in excellent shape. You will be amazed at how easily your tires will bubble or blow out if you hit potholes. Run Flats are a better defense if the lure of large diameter wheels is upon you.

Its such a curse the car looks great but you will need flawless roads otherwise its game over rather quick.

with that much stretch the OP will damage his rim guaranteed if he hits a pothole.. there will just be insignificant amount of rubber protecting the edge of the rim.

20 x 10 +32 offset will be pretty far out past the fender. 20 x 9 +35 will be 5mm past the fender. Your adding a half inch more past the fender with a 10. That would be an aggressive poke.

20x9 35et on a 235/35(stretched) will be flush..
20x10 32et on a 225/35(extremely stretched, don't recommend it) rim edge will be 1/2" passed fender but tire will be tucked in fender.. soo will work. (stance look)
Also this will look terrible if car isn't slammed, your 1.6" drop on springs don't cut it when trying to pull this off.
If your serious about this setup I would atleast consider a 245 front and 265 rear
And lastly I hope your car isn't 4matic since your rolling radius will be larger in the rear.

I just installed my wheels on a 40mm drop with 235/35R20 and had to cut 4mm off the back pad to change offset to 39mm to make the rim almost flush it is currently about 1mm or less out from front fender.
My last thread of when I was trying to figure out what to do about the fitment has the pics of a 35mm offset on the front showing how far it is past the fender.

The pics below is what it is now at 39mm in front

Yes you are right.. I thought my 8.5 fronts were 30et but I was wrong they were 35et. I went back to an old thread and confirmed. By the way I think your front wheel is PERFECT fitment! Im really surprised, I was expecting more stretch on that front tire.

Thanks Bigig
I was unsure of how it would be also. I was about to sell the wheels but I just rolled the dice and cut them and put a stretched tire on. Tires were cheap. I am going to try a 245/35R20. Just to see if I can't fit without rubbing. It will be close. I still didn't check the strut clearance.
