Has anyone put in a window vent request at weathertech.com? I just requested one and they said they dont have enough interest in it so no go .. anyone no where I can get one or can we submit more requests so they will start making it. I prefer weathertevh because thry have a usa factory and quality is really nice.

 

Anyone know where I can place an order for window ventshades/rain guard for the w212 sedan or better yet have one for sale?

I contacted them directly on their Facebook page. The downside is they were $100 + $45 shipping (est 2 weeks), but they do have another shipping option of $100 that you would get them in like 3-5 days.

Which shipping option did you choose? Please post pics. I'm thinking about ordering from them also. Is it installed in channel? Or outside with 3m tape?

 

I chose the $45 one because I really couldnt c myself paying $100 for shipping lol

I will be sure to post pics once I get em. So far they have been perfect with the transaction. The day after I purchased them they sent me shipping confirmation via Facebook.

I believe they are in the channel but I will keep you posted.

Soooo I have some good news and some bad news lol

They arrived quicker than expected but they are not in channel.

I was examining the window yesterday and an in channel one honestly wouldn't be possible with the way everything's designed.

They did however include a bottle of an adhesive solution in addition to the strips on the items themselves. They look really good. I will most likely put them on Saturday. Pics coming soon

 

I have a set (front and back) that is in channel. Works well and they do fit, but didnt like them so have them in the garage for now.

 

Are you selling it? What color? Why didnt you like them?

Here are a few pictures with the venttec visors. I've had them for about 2 1/2 years now and haven't given me any problems. fits very well and was a easy install as long as you have steady hands to line it up correctly.

 

I do not want to sell them yet im afraid. They are black.
Just didnt like the look of the car when they where on, like they cheapend the look. To bad since i have the same ones on my Grand Vitara and it looks good on that car.

 

Anyone have a dark tint set for sale in the usa?

 

My back ones lined up perfectly, but the fronts didn't fit well at all. I used the solutions provided but was far from pleased with the fitment.

 

Why wont it line up? Can you show us a picture?

 

I wish weathertech would make some for the w212. Can you guys fill out the request form?
