Trim removal instructions

I have a new set of interior trim for my car and some googling and haven't found any clear instructions. I found one clip that showed how to remove trim piece with the vents and it had tabs the get pulled down. Do the door pieces have similar tabs or are they just pry away? Any help or tips would be appreciated.

Good luck.

So very sorry, I am a victim of repetitve threads. I saw the title of your thread and picked up on the word "door" in you post without reading it all.
I assumed you were a new member posting another thread about the exterior trim.

for the center wood trim along the dash, you have to open the glove box, there are 2 taps that must be pulled down that unlock the wood. then you need two awls or small flat head screw drivers and go through the center dash vents on the side and release the tabs, having a flashlight will make it easier to find them.

for the door panels: the thin bottom wood trims can be pried out. the upper bigger wood trims have T27/or T30 torx holding them in...i forget. either way the door panels have to be removed.

the wood around the instrument cluster can be pried off, but the left side dash vent must be removed first as is the center dash wood trim.

side dash vents: get pried out, and then you have T20 torx screws holding the wood trim on.

center console: the long side pieces can be pried up, but it must be pried by where the center console meets the dash, then slid upwards.

ashtray: those are slide on and off and locked in to place.

AC control panel: you must remove the ashtray assembly and the bottom trim strip under the heated seat switches, this will reveal 2 T20 torx screws. then you must unwedge the ac control panel out and you will have access to the locking tabs holding the wood trim on.

sorry for lack of detail, im doing this all from memory while at work. if youre handy you can figure the small details out.
Thanks, that was very helpful. Another member PM'd me some awesome material as well. This forum is the bomb.

Good morning. I would greatlybappreciate it if the individual would also send me a pm with details. I got the dealer to do the door trim as he charged me just 2 hours. But he wants 4 hours for the front dash...I will tackle it myself. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

I did this just a few months ago. Dash board is fairly straight forward...the door panels require a bit more work. Removing the panel and then you'll see torx nuts holding the top trim piece on. The lower piece (below the door pull) is held in with clips. I'd recommend buying a door trim removal kit from Amazon or eBay. Give yourself plenty of time and just work your way across the piece until a bit pulls away, then slowly work from that point outward/across.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Hey thank you so much for you offer to help , so you said its pretty simple , and im almost sure it is but in fact i got one question before i do it , is that chrome/aluminum part removable too or not? because thats what mostly stopping me and if its not its gonna be hard to tuck my wrap in between it and actual trim... thank you for your help.
what color did you wrap yours?

I left the silver part alone and only did the wood sections in black. I like the contrast of the black against the silver. The silver parts are not removable...or not easy at least. It appears they are held on with plastic pop rivets and/or some heated plastic. Not something you want to tackle. But take off the passenger side and have a look. You may be able to do something.

If you don't mind, where did you get a new trim set and how much are they going for?
