Want to change the grill on my 14 e class. Does front bumper have to come off?

Hey guys just ordered a e63 single bar front grill for my 14 e class sport model . I've heard the front bumper has to come off ?

Yes, it does. The grill is mounted with rivets and only removable if you pull the entire bumper.

They are available on ebay and are a little over 200 bucks shipped. It is a subtle upgrade. It might stand out more if the grills were painted a light silver like the amg models.

That's a lot less than I thought, but I guess it is just plastic. Is this a DIY project or do you need a body shop?

Sorry, I have no clue. I don't have a 14 and I've never tried this on my 11. You could compare the pictures and steps in the other thread for the earlier model to your own car. If everything looks the same it may work. It would take less than 30 minutes to find out. If not, then follow the instructions linked right above this post by GregTR.
