door unlock problem
I have a 2014 E350 p1 package if that helps.

if so, the switch may be worn and indicating an electrically closed circuit, thus
triggering the interior lights to come on.
on the w210s the driver side door tends to exhibit this first as it's the most often
used door. try testing this WAG theory by using your body weight against the
door...pushing, then pulling. if the door unlocks, this is a big clue. do same test
for pax door, followed by rear doors (helper needed).
p.s. i'm presuming your car has that auto-convenience door locking feature when
your car exceeds walking speed

My thought was that somehow the car perhaps thought a collision has happened but if so should it be also calling the TeleAid, which it did not?
