Hope the issue gets resolved, and hugging your car is not weird..if I had an E63 who knows what I'd do in the privacy of my own garage....seriously best of luck and keep us posted

The Best or Nothing
Heard from a case manager at MBUSA yesterday. The process is now starting, only 7 months after i bought it. Also heard from the service advisor at MB Westwood today, confirming they have experienced the bucking issue and are awaiting MBUSA to respond. Mailed my "final repair attempt" letter to MBUSA today. I don't want to **** anyone off at MBUSA, but I needed to demonstrate where I am at on this. Last thing I want is to get a bunch of attorneys involved in all of this. Hopefully a business person at MBUSA leads the process internally not a lawyer.
Two questions for me, how do I ever let my son, daughter, wife etc ever drive this - even if they say its fixed again. I fear for their safety? Once my father saw my 2014 E63 he went out and bought a 2014 E350, what do i tell him? Should he be concerned, should I be concerned for his safety? How can I, in good conscience, sell this car to a third party?
You're going about this in a good way. We are here to support you, your family's safety is top top priority, Mbusa will recogniZe that
The best thing you have going for u is that the dealer can reproduce the issue! That means it's undeniable and documented .. You have this in the bag but it will take time
My build date for e550 #1 was July 2013 and #2 was march 2014
If u go lemon on this and get lawyers involved, it will get "sour" and it will drag out for one to two YEARS. I promise. Better to negotiate amicably with Mbusa. At a last resort you can give Steve cannon an email.

Was this a lease or purchase? It makes a difference in the way MBUSA can/will respond.
Be firm in your communications with everyone MB, documenting every email, letter, write notes on phone calls, etc. Talk to the dealership management team to gain their assistance through the process. Don't **** them off, as mine helped initiate my buyback. Also, know your state's Lemon law details, just in case.
And if it is proved to be a safety issue, ask the dealership for a longterm loaner.
Dealers don't have answers for repairing trans. jerk issue. My dealer had my car for 1 month one time and replaced with new trans but it did not fix, so it is back at dealer again. 2nd go round, dealer has had it for 4 weeks with no answer. I like to get another car or refund on my car!
