Another Tranny issue? Car stuck in park.. anyone? ..not a battery issue
Then It jerked while driving and check engine light came on.
I got a red light so decided to turn off car and turn back on to "reset" everything. The car was now stuck in park in the middle of the road. Multiple restarts etc did not change anything.
called tow truck. they said minimum 90 minutes. With my car stranded in the center lane of a 55mph semi-highway! (at a traffic light intersection thankfully)
cop came and said have to move it to impound to get it off the road then Mercedes can get it from there.
so 30 min after initial incident, started her up and tried to get out of park again and went into gear right away. Drove 5 more miles to work.
got it towed to dealer and same issue happens when dropped off at dealership. "We can't get the car to move"
just had 40k where they tested the batteries, did tranny flush and put 2k miles in 2 weeks after service with no issues, so I doubt its the aux battery.
Took tow truck over 200 minutes to get to the car. And when I call the roadside they have the spin of "the best or nothing" for our customers playing on the hold music.
any ideas?

Without knowing how the auto and safety assist features are related to the tranny issue, my first thought would be a tranny issue since you just had that serviced. Not sure if a tranny can overheat, but perhaps it cooled after the 30 minutes you waited enough so it could shift again.
Are you still under warranty?

Did you any news on the car today?
You mentioned the auto and safety Assist features (like attention assist?) kept turing off. Do you mean the icons for those would come and go on there own as if the feature was being disabled then enabled, or are there other warning lights like you get when ecs is off?
