Just had the finished sample from the factory, Friend provide me with these set FOR FREE!!! YO ! can't wait to share.
it's just final test process.
same material, same finish, OEM fitment. no wiring or modification needed.
no plug just play.

battery powered LED last for 3 years after that just change battery easy ...painless...

Looks less bright than oem illuminated sills... How do yours know if door open or closed

it came with a small magnet attach to the edge of the door. when you open the door it will trigger. after 5 minutes it will turn off even if the door is not close.

I noticed that the lighted ones are wider than the original ones. Did that cause any type of problem since you are right at the edge of the sill? Also when you have to change the battery will the sill plate bind when you need to remove it? Will they be damaged from removing to change the battery?
