Hey everybody, I purchased my E550 at the beginning of the year and love it. I did notice the rear brake calipers seem to be missing a piece. I'm thinking there is supposed to be a piece with the words "Mercedes Benz" that is suppose to attach to the caliper and cover the brake pads?? Can anyone confirm this for me?

"Mercedes Benz" reads only in the front.

ok gotcha, would you say there is a piece missing though??

Mine looks exactly the same other than the red color.

thanks for the clarification Arrie, that's what I needed to know. I wish Mercedes sold some sort of cap to clip on there...oh well

Why would the previous owner paint areas that a cap with the words "Mercedes Benz" would hide?
That should have been your first clue that nothing was missing.

To me it looks like the owner DIDN'T paint where a cover would go. You can see where the two holes are that it was left unpainted in the picture. This made me believe that I was missing a piece...
