Any mbrace deals?
My mbrace is about to expire (trial) in 6 days and they said only %14 off the 18 month renewal... Still $280 for annual
Didn't help that I told them I was canceling, they didn't try to retain my business

Sirius will do most anything to get you to renew because then they have your credit card number which they will use for automatic renewals for the rest of time at full price.

I wish they did. On my wife's 2008 MB we got a great deal - MB switched to MB-brace and we got lifetime subscription for like $300. Of course, she cannot use most of the features.

Good. I cancelled mine last week. They weren't offering me anything better either, just a jab asking me why am I disabling a safety feature by canceling M'brace!!!
The feature I liked most was the send2 Benz. Anyway will wait till they offer it at a substantially reduced price ( never ).

Now the 15 E has a browser and you can do that anytime. MBRACE is really obsolete now that the new models have a browser.

I just recently disposed of my Bluetec...because I totaled it (actually, the guy who t-boned me totaled it).I was in the middle of nowhere and it was literally -25F (it was Canada in January). The airbag deployed and maybe 30 seconds later I heard a voice say "Mr Listerone, this is Mbrace, are you OK?" I said I was. They asked "do you need an ambulance?" and I answered no.I'm in a BMW now and they give "BMW Assist" free for 10 years. But if they charged for it I'd pay for it.
And no,I don't work for Mercedes Benz!

I don't have the service, but when I pushed the roadside assistance button they answered the call and said they would send someone out for a fee. Didn't try the emergency button though.

As I suggested above the emergency notification could literally save a life.It might be worth calling them again and ask them what would happen if you had a serious accident without being signed up.If they say "we'd send an ambulance but we'd bill you for it" then it could be argued that you're still protected in an emergency.
