New E400 Sedan on the dock in Germany ....

New at this - guess it ships from Bremerhaven to Port Hueneme - then off to VPC in Carson, CA (please correct me if I'm wrong).
Entered the VIN on WW's site - nothing yet (as expected). The next vehicle carrier they list - Morning Cello - sails from Germany 10/04 - arrival here 10/29.
Can't easily find the NYK Line schedules - no worry - certain to have the ship info when it hits the water.
Looking forward the new MBZ - a first here.

Have you guys seen the stats on the 2015 Caddy CTS V-sport model -- TTV6 producing about 400hp/400tq but pulling 2014 E550 numbers... 0-60 in the low 4's and 1/4 mile in the mid 12's...yikes

Yes, good idea to research the clear protection films. The main MB dealer in Vancouver is now offering the 3M Scotchgard paint protection film. It looks good on the car, providing an entire panel (eg. front hood) is covered. Covering only one-half of the hood is not a good idea. It does reduce the deep paint gloss a touch and it is not that easily removed (must return to installer for removal).
There are many options as to where film could be applied; front apron, front hood, front fenders, etc. So pricing will depend on how much body work you decide to cover with film.
Best of luck with your new E400 !
