Sweet! keep your eye on those valve stem caps. I had two separate complete sets stolen and then gave up and put the cheap plastic ones back on. Car looks great!

you need to put a lighted emblem in front. My emblem goes on when I open the door of the car and while the car is running. Hooked up to fuse 23. No transformer needed.

Does the star turn when you twist it to the left or is it a fixed star that does not move. Mine was one that you twist and then you can remove it. One of the most simplest of thing to do on the car. I am surprised they are not stolen. They come off that easily. But if yours is fixed you cannot replace it with a lighted one.
Illuminated star looks cool, like you said to each his own but i still love the fact that I can switch back to my original grill and standing star on the hood i still love that look and will switch it up when I get the itch.
He's proud of the brand. What's wrong with that? I agree that someone putting an AMG emblem on the trunk is going a bit too far (IMO) but even my X3 has an M-sport package with a few M-emblems. Some manufacturers do that. My E350 will come with AMG wheels. It's only pedals and door pins. Come on, cut some slack.

I just don't understand the appeal of placing parts with AMG logos on a non AMG car. Seems cleaner without.

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it in no way shape or form am I trying to make my car a E 63 the pedals have AMG logos on them, I will be the only one to see them I shared them on this forum for other enthusiasts to look at. it is my car I will do with it as I please. To all the people that purchased non amg cars but have AMG packages with AMG wheels maybe they should take a grinder to the AMG logo on the rim It may look cleaner.

I went for it and i put a switch in for whenever I feel like shining the star
