30,000 mile update
Avg. Gas mileage: 39mpg.
No other issues. No rattles, squeaks.
Best. Comutter. Car. Ever.
I'll check in at 40K.
Merry Christmas!

My E250 is also following yours. I got around 21.3k on mine now since purchased new in May 2014. I also track my fuel mileage via math and it is currently at 39.78714 MPG since driving off the dealer lot. The number is slowly growing for me now that I went over 20k miles.
I do drive quite a bit of interstate miles, 120 each day in commute around 70-75MPH(or higher) for 106 of those miles. I have seen over 60MPG on the car computer driving at very high elevations and under 60 for hundreds of miles in Colorado,Utah. Normally I see upper 40's to low 50's in my afternoon commute on the computer. But overall when refueling I normally now see average computer mileage around 43-47MPG with mathematical figuring out to be around 41-45MPG.
Thank you much for the information. I can compare my experience with yours. I am basically comparing to yours and it is about same. The numbers make me pretty happy.

I only hope this motor and car will continue delivering the enjoyment and mileage it has for the 20K till well in the 300k mark or more with proper maintenance.

Is your E250BT RWD or 4Matic ?

I figured I rather have the mileage and less running gear to wear out than the need I might have for AWD in a car that will run on the interstate mostly in a metro area. Those interstates get attention first around here for snow. I driven now for over 40 years with RWD or FWD, a few more I should be OK with,

Like you, I have driven mostly FWD or RWD for the past 50+ years. In the case of my 2008 E320BT RWD, for driving in winter over high mountain passes, I placed two bags of sand in the trunk for extra rear traction. Never had any problems driving through heavy snow.
Enjoy driving your awesome E250BT in beautiful Utah and Colorado !!!
