Talking Show your mods on your White W212!

Hi everyone ...I'm a proud new owner of a 2012 White E350! Some of you may have seen my posts in my other thread "pulled the trigger on a 2012 e350" but I wanted to start another one for WHITE W212s and their mods!! (pics would be nice). Just want to have an idea of what other members have done to their white Es and hopefully help other members who may be wondering the same. Ready..go!!!

PS. I haven't got a chance to take pics of mine because of weather. :/ Can't wait till it's sunny to do a little photo shoot!

Yes sir!!! I already ordered mine on amazon for a lot cheaper! I think the dealer charges $110 or something like that for a set of 4.

I bought the car for the wife. She said it is to computerized and she does not want a car that talks to her. Made me keep her old Cadillac. I am used to restoring old cars so I will continue tinkering with the MB. My next project will be a dash camera installed next to the rear view mirror. Most of the modifications like the sun Glass holder that replaces the handle above the drivers door I had to get from Canada because you cannot get it in the good old USA. Some of the other mods I got directly from Germany. I do not know why they are not available in the USA.

You know I'm really interested on doing the dash camera. only thing is I already installed my radar by the rearview mirror and Ezpass on the other side

You could always wrap it with black vinyl (my preference) or plasti-dip it to try out the look.

Wow that's exactly how I want mine to look!!! how did you finish the front lip? There isn't any gaps where plastidip would normally break. If I use painters take for the line then when I'm finished with all the coats, the tape will peel with the dip.

The car was originally black, so the lines were hardly visable. The plastidip was durable, although there was a small portion that needed work after a nasty winter.

Gotcha!! That's why vinyl is out of the picture cuz with plastidip you can retouch or do it all over again for nothing or little cost to you.

I like star grilles but not on w212. Once it gets a little warmer, I'm going to try that
