hi every1
just joined this site and hope to get some help with a nasty vibration in my steering wheel on my e350 cdi 2010 w212 ,its wierd sounds like a grinding feel but not much noise but its constant and doing my head in ,on standstill when i turn left and write i can feel it in the car and under my seat and when i drive over 40mph i can feel it bad in my steering wheel ,my murc has got few miles on it actualy alot of mile 128k
i no but its all motorway miles and its running well other then this annoying problem can eny1 help sorry to sad to go into full details but reading some forums seems like i aint the only 1 experiancin this problem but havnt realy found anything that helps atm ????

When I first bought my 2010 CPO I had bad vibration on the highway and even when idling. It turned out to be a motor mount (or tranny I forget) but once addressed he car was amazingly smooth. Like someone said, wheels may be the first culprit.Originally Posted by Takir

Agree. Easiest (and cheapest) option is get your tires balanced. Vibration should get worse from 20mph to 80 or so.
Other then that things might get more expensive to check but think of motor mounts, steering pump/electronics. Let us know if you got it fixed
