2011 E550 Sport sedan, purchase & build/photo thread

HID kit was fairly simple to install but still took a while. Side markers were easily accessed with the fender liner being off. Rear spoiler did not have a good fit. I had to ( carefully ) grind some parts of it in order to make it lay more flush, and still it wasn't perfect but much better than originally and OK for now. If some of the gaps on the sides bother me too much, I might just pull it off.... well see.

Next I will tint the windows and maybe install carbon fiber bumper lip.
I do want to install bright white bulbs for my high beams and the other little bulb thats inside high beam housing.
I will tackle the steering wheel contact plate swap out on the steering wheel to try and get the buttons, horn and paddles to work.
Maybe just maybe I will lower it just a bit with the links, still not sure about that....

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Now if someone was to put E63 on the back than I would totally disagree with that and would also think is not right and cheesy?

As you said the AMG badge on your car represents that you have the sports sedan that came with AMG wheels etc and nothing more.
If you removed the E550 badge and were falsely advertising you had an E63 built by AMG that would be a different story.
Let them take the tears to the grave

I think your car looks great. I particularly like the exterior color, the spoiler and the chrome seat buttons for the door.
