W212 Just Looks So Good!
Ok, don't mean to brag. But since we all have this car I suppose it's not bragging or making anyone envious.
I'll be dang gone if this isn't a sweet looking car. Sure it isn't all swoopy and low roofline like some cars but that's part of its charm. It's that timeless amount of upright-ish sedan mixed svelte, crossed with sledgehammer.
I was thinking about trading it for a Ghibli or used Rapide. Burnt this thing looks great and is Diesel. It's a good compliment for Huracan. A Rapide is sick but also a 12 cylinder and VERY fun to drive. But that makes it less contrast from Huracan!

Nice. I got the Vossen CTVs. I love the VFS2, but I think the CVTs looks better for my car because of the big calipers.
Just a suggestion, but you can also consider swapping the orange side markers to a smoke or clear side markers.
Question, how did you lower your sweet ride?

Great pics and loving both of your rides. I agree the W212 looks stunning and that was one of the reason I went with w212.

After six years I still think the W212 is a remarkable looking car and is exactly correct for a sedan. Still wish MB had kept the distinctive "E" Class four headlight set-up.
On too many four door sedans, the rear roof line dips down too drastically. Not only does it not look good, creates terrible rear vision.

Didn't mean to jack op's thread. But I love the way Vossen wheels look on our W212. You will not regret going with the E63. I have my tuned with AMS alpha 9 turbo upgrades with 760hp under my gas pedal. It is indeed fun to drive. Thanks again.

Thanks! Ironically, it was seeing an E63 with VFS2's that made me get them! I generally don't like twist wheels because to my eye it softens/dilutes the message the strong spoke design is trying to send. Nothing says sharp-edged and taught like a straight spike spoke!
I even almost considered the bronze but decided it was too tuner-ish and also blunted the sharpness of the spokes. Notice how much sharper they look on the silver one and mine. It took lots of digging to find these pics but they sealed the deal for me!

I fell in love with the optional AMG rim, best stock rim beside the 18" AMG V 16-spoke IMHO.
Only after market rim I would consider is the Enkei Raijin,
one of the only few that offer OEM stagger setup.
love the quad headlights on the pre-facelift W212 too,
if they're not bringing it back in the future I'm moving to S class next.

^one of the many precast, molded wheels?
if you want quality, I advise spending the coin for good wheels
