2011 e350 Bluetooth Audio Enabling?

There is some information on the board about enabling the Bluetooth audio streaming for 2011 e350 via engineer menu? Can someone provide details of how to? Following the instruction, I was able to get into the engineer menu, but don't see any option of turning it on. Btw, I am using iPhone 5s, and the phone connects to the car via Bluetooth fine, I just don't have music streaming option from the audio section. Thanks in advance!

Hi matey, I've a late 2011 too, E250, guess we might have the same tech kit. I can enable blue tooth for the phone calls etc, but not audio streaming....I don't think it possible with our.

Cheers

My early 2011 (sticker on the door says 9/2010 build) streams bluetooth audio just fine.

I bought it CPO in 2/2012, maybe the COMAND was updated?

Let me know if you have questions, but mine works perfectly for: audiobooks, iPod, Pandora, etc...

Yeah my 2011 E550 did not steam bluetooth even after turning it on in the engineering screen. it took a trip to the dealer for a Comand update for it to work, outside of warranty its usually is an hour labor for the update.

+1

Need to update command to work. You can enable it in the Eng Menu, but it won't auto connect you have to manually pair it to stream music. But my friend actually got it to auto -connect on the the new IOS 9.2 update. Its worth the try... maybe yours is the same.

I have a 2010 e350 tried enabling bt audio in engineering menu. But there is still no option to connect phone to stream music. If I update command center it will work ?

There is an update on the comand 4.0 that will enable this. See your dealer and see if they can do it for you, if youre out of warranty, they might charge for it, otherwise its free.

After you have enabled bluetooth in ENg Menu, did you try connect bluetooth audio manually? and it did not work?

When I updated my iPhone to IOS9.3.1 I could not longer establish a Bluetooth connection. What is the engineering menu and how do I get to it?
