Need advice on 2014 E350 warranty work

Hi Guys, need some advice on what to do with a dealer (MB of Coconut Creek) that refuses to replace a sticking button on my A/C fan control.

I took the car in for a couple of issues, the dreaded fading burl wood, sticking A/C fan controls, car sounds like diesel at startup and my MBRACE not working. Well, they ignored everything except for the fading wood trim.

I really "NEEDED" them to replace the button because it was not only annoying but it hindered the functionality of it to the point where it was hard to change the fan speed on the climate control.

So long story short, service adviser said someone spilled something on it and that MB is refusing to replace it. He told me to call MB, which I did, and MB customer service said it was up to the dealer!! So service adviser points the finger at MB and MB points the finger at the dealer!!?? WTF? I just want to get my button replaced. I didn't spill anything on it, but if I did, this is a design flaw that THEY need to address. IDIOT engineers putting a/c controls where the cup holders are? WTF do you think will happen? This is an excuse for them not to do the work.

Any suggestions?

I'm really fed up with MB entirely and this is pissing me off so bad that I'm going to jump ship and go to BMW for good. I NEVER have these issues with BMW, the service advisers there NEVER tell you to call BMW on your own behalf, they do it for you if there is ever a problem or dispute over warranty!! MB needs to take a few lessons from BMW.

Sorry to hear about your issues. I assume you must have spoken to the higher ups in the dealerships. I suppose the highest person you can get hold off will likely resolve the situation in the most amicable manner. It is pathetic if this is how they treat a customer who bought a brand new car from them.
Regarding M'brace, did you call the M'brace number to report the problem and see what they suggest?

Did you try going to another dealership? sometimes they will help hoping you will buy next time from them. The other option is the Better Business Bureau. File a complaint against the dealership. Good luck

Just go to a different dealer. If you want a BMW get one.

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
There are PLENTY of bmw dealers that would do the same

I agree with the above.. Another dealer and then bbb autoline

Call Mbusa back and escalate the issue and let them know if they don't you will file with the bbb in new jersey ... Montvale NJ is where Mbusa is

I negotiated two buybacks with Benz

No actually they couldn't. There was NO trace of any liquid in that area. I asked the service adviser if the tech took it apart to determine there was liquid and he said no. This was all based on assumption, which pissed me off even more.

Well I would challenge the liquid issue if they don't have proof. But others are right to just go somewhere else with hopefully better service.
