Which W212 do you have
I've been taking notice of the various W212's I see on my daily commute- 75% of the W212's I see on the road are E350's. I suspect that the % of E350's for folks that frequent this board is lower because this is an enthusiast's board
So what flavor W212 do you have?

I have E350 4matic wagon which is even rarer. Although I do see quite a # of E350 wagons around here and two E63S wagons as well.

I have an E550 and we call it a unicorn in my circle. I can go months before I see another one. I see C300, E350, S550 everyday. Of course I see a variety of the SUV lineup as well.
I'd go as far as to say I see about the same amount C63 & e63 as I see of my car.
Mines is RWD as well which is even more unique from the E550s that I've come across in real world and on here.

W204 C63 AMG, W212 E250 CGI, C207 E250 CGI
if im not mistaken, 350 is the entry level petrol engine E released in America. nothing lower hence its the most common.
i reckon theres more 350 owners in this forum (US members) than any other variant.

2010 E550 Sport 4Matic p2. I wanted a 63 but the AWD variant was out of my price range and RWD makes little sense in either of the locations I reside. I've been extremely happy with the car and the 22k miles I've driven it this year!

E250 Bluetec 4Matic. one of the less common variants, especially with a moderate option load.

2013 E550 4Matic
2013 E550 P2 for me... had a 2011 E350 P1, but the E550 is the car I should've gotten the first time, hands down. And the fact that no one in my circle noticed I changed cars is even better lol

Wait didn't I type that below my avatar. E550 is rare around here too.
Totally unscientific, flawed and not representative of manufacturer sales figures by model, but pulling up nationwide preowned on mbusa for a given model year might give you some sense of the distribution of what's for sale now. For 2014 here is what I found:
Sedan:
E350 - 1000 (maxed out counter)
E350BT - 32
E400 hybrid - 7
E550 - 32
E63 - 3
E63S - 9
Wagon:
E350 - 48
E63 - 1

2014 E550 sedan. Owned for about 6 weeks now and only missing multi contour seat and illuminated door sill (which I am thinking of DIY). 2 door and RWD was out of the questions due to family and the northeast winters. A ton of ML and newer GL I have seen in NYC, a few C300 and every now and then some E350 and S class but so far no other E550 yet. Picked the car up in Delaware and the drive back to NYC was one of my best driving experience since I was driving a 4runner for almost 10 years.

I have a USA E-350 Bluetec diesel.
Luxury and P2 and diesel make it a super unicorn.
I wanted P2 and Luxury, CPO, and the only one I could find was the diesel.
Now, I'm 94,000 miles in love with the diesel, can't imagine going to a gasoline engine.
