I know that but that is because they cut up a LHD bracket and modify it and add it to a RHD frame,. So bare in mind the look it has after adding 2 parts together with like glue...
And you cant compare a W218 with a W212..Totally different. If you are willing to modify you can of course fit anything. I just dont want to take responsebility for selling a pice like that.

I suspected that much that you wouldn't want to sell a patched up system but then what are we RHD owners suppose to do?
Of course I would want to see what the RHD bracket/frame looks like before I pay for it.
Carlife indicated that it would cost them $4,000US to have the mold made for the RHD bracket, I guess that's the reason why they don't have it yet.
I presume they think there wouldn't be enough interest in the RHD system to justify that kind of outlay.
However I got an e-mail from them last week that I should check back after the Chinese New Year, they may have something.
Well there is nothing to settle for unfortunately. Apparently the guy who modifies the bracket for RHD E-class is in Singapore and he needs the car to make the modification.
That won't be happening anytime soon, shipping the car off to Singapore, so the wait continues for the RHD bracket.
Will check your site too in case you source them from somewhere.
Well it cost about $7000 to make a mold so dont think itss happening anytime soon...
Well Emily wrote in an answer on youtube to a question that the mold costs around $4,000.
Seeing how there are a lot of people seem to be looking for an w212 RHD versions, and there are over a billion people driving on the wrong side of the road around the world, perhaps it wouldn't be such a financial disaster to make the RHD mold. There is India, the UK, Japan, HK, Singapore, Australia, NZ, etc.
With a little marketing they could increase their sales in those countries.
Oh well, I'll just wait or get a W213. :-)
Couple more questions I couldn't find the answers to...
1. Would it be possible to have eg. satnav open on the Android and still listen to the OEM DAB/CD in the background?
2. I've got Audio20 on my car but not sure what NTG system it is. Is there a way of checking this out?
How is with the translation? I've heard that at the beginning there were some issues with English. I hope that now is everything okay. This would be really good upgrade. I will defenitely buy it.

I think think you miss understood. I'm fairly certain you can use the NAV and audio source paired to the new unit. For example running the wide screen Google maps and blue tooth stream from your phone. I'm not sure why I'm this day and age you'd want to do anything else.
I have a 2015 SLK 250 (R172) with Audio 20 NTG4.5 and also with the external Navibox (Becker) which was retrofitted (i.e. not in Vedoc, but enabled in Vediamo). But I am finding that I actually don't use the Becker Nav and I am always trying to use Waze or Google Maps on my phone, so I came to this thread to see what was involved in upgrading to NTG5s1 with Android Auto/Carplay. Of course, this thread presents both the retrofit to NTG5s1 and also the Carlife Android screen that looks very much like a factory system with bigger screen. I found out from Emily at Carlife that they have a 9" screen option with bracket that would work in my SLK. So now I am considering this option but have some questions for the group.
1. For those that have seen both (upgrade to NTG5s1 w/android auto/carplay) vs. Carlife Android screen, I want to know which one you prefer. Seems like one is a fully integrated factory experience, the other one is like 2 systems (factory for some functions and Android Carlife for the rest of them, but the functionality is much stronger with Android apps, Mirror link, etc)
2. With Carlife option, it looks like you can only play a physical CD if you select the CD option which shows the original NTG4.5, but then you can not run Navi or other function at the same time - is this correct?
3. With Carlife option, what are the only functions that you still use the original NTG4.5 system? Is it just physical CD and XM Radio?
4. With Carlife option, can I still scroll through my phone book or advance to next song or mute system using steering buttons? And do you see those functions in the instrument panel screen?
5. Do the buttons on the NTG4.5 system work with the Carlife (i.e. if I punch a phone number in on the keypad, does it dial the call via the Carlife system) or do I have to use only the touch screen to dial a number.
6. When the top is down on the SLK, the sun can make it hard to see my phone screen. Can the brightness on the carlife system be turned up high enough so it can be seen even with the glare of the sun?
I have E class w212 2010year. Got fitted NTG5s1 audio 20. Unlocked via antitheft pin code. Its working with new comand controller. Fitted reverse camera from 360 set and adjusted as reverse camera via R gearbut its still not working camera. Even when i change gear on R is not changing screen to camera mode.
1. What to do to get working reverse camera?
2. Can i have screen mirroring? what i need else to getv working this?
3. Can i get carplay working ?
Does Audio 20 NGT5.1 support those functions? I know my previous Audio 20 version foes not support those functions, that would be the full Comand system required, but maybe different for 5.1.
