Has anyone painted their calipers?
I have a white E400 and it looks fine but again lacks some color.
I would just like to have the Calipers painted, but the 2016 E400 is still under warranty.
Can i paint calipers without voiding some part of the warranty?
And, anyone recommend a painter/mechanic that can do the job in the Bay Area, CA?
Thanks!

Painted stock calipers look wonky. Unless they are big honking brake systems, I would not bother. My opinion for what it's worth.

painted mine in red , and put amg stickers on top. (used G2 paint off ebay) looks better than stock ones , and goes with good with black wheels.
some ppl say it doesnt look good.... but who cares , as long as im happy. even tho they do look a lot better than stock in my opinion.

I changed my wheels to a 5 spoke design and like it even more. Just enough.

The last time I did it I removed the Mercedes plate from the front calipers, cleaned and painted it black then applied a "Mercedes" decal. I also bought new hardware which I coated with a clear rust preventer before installing.
All in all the calipers have been much easier to keep clean. Also, the paint has not been affected by heat.
