Well, I bought my E350 last month and, all of a sudden, my wife's 2013 Toyota Avalon started having issues. The issue was my wife obviously wanted something different. I was on the way back from a Cars & Coffee at DuPont Registry corporate office and decided to stop by the dealership for a break and some coffee. My salesman comes over and asks if I have a minute. He brings me to the back and shows my this 2014 ML350 RWD with the same options as my car but includes the lighting package. At first, I wasn't thrilled about the color but the more I looked at it- the more I liked it. Next thing I knew, I was driving it home to my wife. She absolutely loves it and, according to her, I'm now the Best Husband Ever.
note to self- pressure wash the driveway.

I like the color too. Best news is that she is happy. Yesterday, I bought an ice cream that me and my wife shared so I would say you win the Best Husband Ever prize of the day.
Yes, Sir! For some reason, they call it Steel Grey in the US- ROW calls it Tenorite which I like much better.
Now, She asked me if I was going to de-badge it for her.

When you buy touch-up paint for it, the bottle label will read Tenorite Grey.
I'm still getting used to the color on my wagon myself. On overcast/rainy/snowy days (edit: not that you'd see snow! ;-)) it looks very dull but in direct sunlight it pops; there's a lot of blue in it.
As for debadging, I usually do it with my daily drivers but I hesitate to do it on a 4MATIC equipped car on the odd chance that it gives tow truck drivers a clue to flatbed and not to tow the vehicle. I suppose I'll be with the car if it ever happens and can let the towers know before they dispatch a driver.

I prefer having it badged. When you go to sell it, I'm always leery of cars that have had too many mods, you never really see them debadged for sale, maybe the dealer puts them back on. But if it's her car, do whatever she wants.
