Alarm Acoustic/Audible Sound
I didn't see much about this posted, so decided to ask (for reference, I have a 2014 E350):
Is there a way to change the alarm arming 'sound' from the abrasive horn honk to the luxurious chirps like the W211's had?
The horn honking makes the car sound so cheap like a Chevy or Dodge or something. Really gets under my skin every time I hear it.

My 2008 C300 had the "Euro Chirp". My 2013 C250 Coupe, 2014 E350 and 2014 ML350 have the obnoxious Honk. I really miss the Chirp too. You can turn off the "Acoustic Lock" option, but I haven't found a way to change the tone without messing with the regular horn.

Hey, I have a 2010 with the chirps. What would happen if you bought a 2010 horn and replaced it with your current one in your 2013 since its the chassis, it would be a retrofit and maybe require a STAR device? Just a thought.

The models with the "Chirp" would have a dedicated, separate horn to create that tone. The "Honk" models use a single horn to produce the audible lock and Honk.

I suggest another option. A trade. My 2010 e550 4matic for your 2014 e350.
(Jokes, I can't give up my v8)
In some videos of GLC 2016, they also use horn. Does the S class also honk or chirp?

Yeah I will surely miss the potent V8 from my W211 E550 (still have it for now, until it's sold---any takers? ) so wondering how I will adjust to a 80 hp/120 torque deficit?
Yeah, I'd love to find out what the S/SL/CL/G/GL/AMG-GT/Maybach's have---absurdly shameful if they have the horns too.
