Adding GPS.
My "new" car come with command center but no GPS.
Does anybody know what it is involved to add the option?
I am not big fan of the GPS I had in older MB, but my 2017 Ford has life traffic and accident notification with touch screen, so I hope I could get close to it with my 2014 E250

I believe to get live traffic input you need to subscribe to the monthly MB sat service. I have found Waze on my phone to be far superior to any factory GPS system for real time monitoring and costs nothing.

So side question. I have 2 electronic cables in my armrest. Is it possible to connect smartphone and display it on command?
Even MB GPS software sucks, it is hard to beat convenience of having solid display on dashboard and clear voice commands.

Naviks thing is not an ideal solution. It works by mirroring the screen, which means the phone screen has to be on and in the right orientation to begin with. Might as well invest in a good phone dock instead.

OK, but how about mirroring added GPS?
Those suction cup things cost $100 and come with free updates, so it is very tempting.
I just hate small screens and voice I can't understand.

I found this page, but with my mechanical background it is too much software speech.
Maybe somebody can find useful info on it?
