Thanks, that was going to be one of the things I try when I have to pull it out again to fit my GPS splitter cable to get away from the poor quality one which comes with the unit.

I assume through either the menu or by pressing a pin into the rest hole in the side.

I have done that. When the correct mileage is displayed, the knob for the comand unit does not work. When I start the engine, everything works, but the mileage changes. I have upgraded the UI and CAN files and still the same.
From what I am told, it's the 1st anyone has had a issue like this. Engineers are looking into this and should get back to me soon, hopefully.
Do you have any idea on what I should do?

Hello Chris,

I have an issue with my V2 android screen. All works well except for the mileage. My car shows 54471km and the screen over 3 million km. It does not match. I did the UI upgrade and the CAN upgrade, but still same issue. Do you know if I remove the fuse box as it is posted this will resolve my issue?
Is there something else I need to do?
I have a 2011 E350 cabriolet (NTG4).

Thank you very much.

I installed the screen last weekend and it went well except I can't get the head unit back in place. I wrestled with it for many hours but it seems there simply isn't enough space behind the COMAND unit on the facelift 2014 E350.
I am sure it is different from the pre-face lift model so if anyone has installed it on a 2014-2015 E350 I would appreciate some pointers as to where to put all the cables.
Also, there is a constant buzz / hiss coming from the speakers as soon as the unit is turned on, even without the engine running.
As soon as the key is in ACC position one, the noise is there. When I start the engine, it is the same noise and the pitch doesn't change when the rev goes up so it's not interference from the engine.
I ordered a suppressor, coming today, but I wonder if someone else had a similar problem and what was the solution.

How did you manage to do it?
Do you have small hands or did you use some tool / trick?
I even removed the glove box to see if there is space beside it but there isn't any.

Hello,

yes finally got this resolved with a couple of upgrades. However, a new issue appeared. When watching a movie or music via bluetooth, only the right side speakers work, not the left. I am waiting from the seller on a solution on this. If you want mail me and I can email you the upgrades and steps to follow to resolve the mileage issue.

The unit is powered by the big harnest with the 2 large square connectors. Check this connection.
Also, one doesn't power on the screen using the button that used to switch on the OEM unit. Instead it switch on when you turn on the car main computer, either turning the key or using the engine on button (no need to turn on the engine, turn the key to the previous stage and don't put your foot on the brake pedal).

Thread resurrection

Wonder if the pin-outs are the same, meaning if you upgrade from V2 to V3, can you only change the screen/head or do you have to do the entire harness too.

So I've totaled my 2011 E63 with my android screen. Looking at possibly getting a 2012 E63. Will I need different cables to install the screen? Can i use the existing cables I had for the 2011?

Yes, wiring loom should be the same, maybe just configuration different depending on which system the 20111 had.

How about a with a W218/CLS 63? there seems to be a bit of shortages on the E63 right now lol.
