yes, since the file name is "2GB" which is what the V2 is usually referred to. The V1 is only 1GB of ram,

It is for V2.
Must be careful with the last step.
The file named ts3561, When I updated this then everything went to the chines.
Take a picture of the screen for your safety.
If it happens the same for you then you know where to switch language.
It is in the same system menu with the code 8888

has anything changed in the update? I'm having no issues, so I'm kind of hesitant on updating.

I'm scared that the home screen icons are going to change from the MB looking to the ugly Windows 95 looking icons I see on some units with different software version than mine.

I installed the Jan update and it hosed my Autobox+Carplay which now stutters streaming auto like crazy when using either Waze or Google maps. Hopefully this fixes it.

Just did the V36 install and get import failed for the factory config restoration (step 4), but saving does reset the settings including language so it may just be a bug.
EDIT - V36 did not fix my choppy autobox audio+autobox maps and now the regular built in BT audio is a bit choppy when using Waze for Android. So for me, upgrading was a mistake so far. If you are on pre V35 and don't have issues, I don't see any point in upgrading to V35 or V36 as I am not seeing any new features for the NTG4 platform, just some new problems.
