1. Will it be compatible with W212 2014 E350? If so, sign me up for beta testers or group buy.
2. Will it activate video in motion also? Can I play my home videos from my phone in the car screen? I know the quality won't be great.
3. Is there any other features that would come with this? Like using the surround view cameras for video recording as a dash cam?

Yes, you can switch between the regular NTG and this adapter using the "Return" button. You will also have the Original NTG active when there is no phone connected to the adapter.

Yes, it works with Ntg 4.5 and Ntg4.7 (works with 2013 E350). I installed it on my E350 2014, and works ok. Price on ebay $338.6. link above.

 

Also installed a front camera, as this adapter has front camera input, but I have issues with the front camera, currently working with the seller to resolve these issues.

 

Wondering if this plays nice with already installed surround view

 

I think it should, if your 360 view is aftermarket system.

 

When you change gear to Reverse the backup camera or the 360 cameras will work (as usual). when you change from "R" to "D" the front camera will work (if available) for a short time, then the screen will go back to normal ( either NTG original screen or carplay/ Android auto)

Android auto works ok. I only have an issue with the front camera( could be the front camera or its cable), I will try to install another one next week.

 

When you reverse, it will show the same screen that you currently have(no change). The front camera is optional (not included) so you don't have to install it. If you install a front camera, it will work when you change gear from R to D.
