I have question for W212 E350 Brake Upgrade
Before I start... I am not English speaker.. sorry about the word and grammar
Currently, I'm driving 12 E350 bluetec model.
My car have one piston brake caliper now.
For now, I will be change my brake pad and rotor, so it is very good time to upgrade front caliper.
I want to upgrade 1 to 4 piston brake which is transfer e350 to e550 brake.
I know when I changed 1 to 4 piston, I have to change brake pad and rotor too.
My specific question is BRAKE CALIPERS.
Look at the photo
I think.....(not sure, if wrong please tell me) there are the same part number4 (i'm not sure what is the name... probably caliper guide?)
The only difference is the brake caliper it self which part number is 3.
So, If I want to upgrade my brake caliper then Can I buy only number 3 part? or what do i need to do
Also, If somebody know the w212 e550 front calipers please let me know the part number as well
Thanks
Already checked with the dealer. They will bolt right on. I'll be doing a thread once I'm done with this.
Thanks for respond.
So, did you just changed calipers(including rotors and pad)? still using your master cylinder?

I have Non-OEM brake pads and rotors as per mentioned by dealer (attached image). According to them, that is the cause of some metal clanking noise when going over speed bumps (after they replaced sway bar links). Now, the brake are fine as of now, but if I have to upgrade to them, I prefer to go over this route.
Dealer quoted 660$ for new MB brake pads, MB rotors. But I was thinking of buying off calipers from E550 (ebay or here from forum members) and get NEW brake pads (MB or Brembo - whichever is cheaper) and rotors.
1. I believe a sticky with compatible part numbers for front and rear: brake pads, rotors and calipers would be great. Those car gurus - please help with that

2. Do we need to worry about rear upgrade also?
3. Will 17" OEM wheels cause any trouble for 4-piston brembo brake set from E550 on my E350?
Thanks.
Apologize for the enlarged image size.
