2011 E350 built 8/11 7g or 7g+
I searched and saw conflicting info of whether I have a 7G or 7G+ transmission. I am going to order trans fluid change parts.

ECS site would indicate that it doesn’t matter.

Try your local Shell distributor. I'm told my local one now has Shell ATF 134 FE and it's just a few dollars more per case than the older ATF 134. Keep in mind that Shell only lists headquarters and those distributors listed may have additional locations in your state. A case of 12 quarts of ATF 134 used to be around $60.

Thanks for the fluid tip. However ECS only sells an OEM kit with the fluid. Does another vendor sell all of the real OEM parts listed above? If I went to dealer those alone would be more than the complete ECS kit.
i don’t see FCP having all of the parts and no kit without fluid.

Well ATF 134 FE is basically MB 236.15 and any fluid that meets that spec should be fine just like Shell ATF 134 FE. That's much cheaper per quart. You could build your own kit at ECS with the Fuchs fluid which is $9.75 a quart, if you got the case at Shell, it'd probably be under $6 a quart.

I hear you. What I meant was how much would the parts be without fluid. Then add the shell expense.
Even at the $6 buying the parts separately might end up more than getting the total ECS package with fluid for $300.

Also those parts listed in the original kit price of $300 are just OE MB parts. If you looked up those part numbers, you could just go to a site like oediscountparts.com and order them all individually to make your own kit.
