Thanks KEY08. I have read many of the threads which were mostly from 2014. There were many opinions I.e., fuse 9, 23, 24 and 25 all seem to have issues. Was hoping there would be a newer thread but couldn’t find one. Guess I’ll just have to take a chance on one of the fuses! Leaning toward fuse 9 since it’s only for the lighter.

My car is a 2015 and I tapped into my front cigarette lighter fuse and have no issues but it turns on once my car is started and stays on until I shut off the car but I can live with that

Thanks Mike. Did you use a piggyback fuse to connect to cigarette lighted fuse? If not what worked for you?

On a 2016 E350, I piggybacked a 3A fuse on panel 1-36, fuse 5 (7.5A - Low Beam, LED light).

No, it's on with engine running, regardless of headlights.
