Diesels don't have throttle. Somebody mention that newer OM642 engine has something called throttle body, but no explanation what exactly it does.
Mercedes video says nothing about such animal on OM651

You can't find something you don't have and there is no indication throtleless engine has throtlle body.
If you have more info about it, why not post it?

konigstiger is unhuman with his access to all the info ![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)
So throttle VALVE seems to be part of new emission system.
I wonder what years they start putting them?

per that diagram above, its on the left side of the engine compartment (if you're standing in front of the car looking at the engine, thats on your right side). follow the fat air pipe from the left (your right) side of the intercooler (that is sandwiched with the radiator), the air pipe goes up to the throttle valve which is likely near the left front wheel well. This throttle valve is mounted on the charge manifold which in turn is connected to the intake manifold on the 'air' side of the engine. On the opposite side of the engine that has the exhaust manifold and turbo, the turbo pumps fresh air into the right side (your left) of the intercooler.

its probably under all the plastic covers on the top of the engine, but I've never seen a E250 CDI so I don't know how they hide it.
