(Video) Replacing Spark Plugs for Mercedes W212 (M276)

Every 6 years or 60,000 miles we have to replace the spark plugs of our Mercedes, that's requiring of Mercedes maintenance booklet. So let's replace the spark plugs for my six years W350 (M276). In MB repair booklet, there is a step to remove intake manifold, in order to remove ignition coil easily. But that must replace the intake plenum gasket, that'd spend another a hundred bucks and more time. So follow my video, you might save that bucks and time to replace all of six spark plugs.

Thanks! The write ups on this site made this job seem a little intimidating, but the video broke it down very clearly. It seems easier to do than replacing on a transverse-mounted Toyota V6, which I can confirm is a pain.

I can feel more powerful with new spark plugs, even the replaced spark plugs still in good condition, as you can see that in the video.

I can imagine that, due to the transverse-mounts, there are 3 cylinders face inside of the engine cabin. That's must a pain to reach the 3 spark plugs, also operating for pull out ignition coils.

I replaced my plugs 2 months ago the drivers side of the engine was a pain in the *** to get to overall it was well worth the hassle

Yes, the most difficult to remove the ignition coil from the 6th cylinder.
