My Ultimate Detail
Well being I have had a lot of time on my hands since March 25th, the day my employer finally shut down from Covid-19. Finished the yard work and odds and ends around the house. So what's next? Obviously 7 days of detailing. The mission to detail my 2014 polar white E350 and my wifes polar white GLE 350.

The Process-

Wash -------------------------------------pressure washer with Autogeek foam canon with Blackfire foam soap
Paint Cleaning -------------------------- CarPro TRIX (tar and iron remover), followed by Blackfire Clay Mitt utilizing Blackfire Clay lubricant
Running Board decontamination -------Nanoskin Speedy Bright (organic wheel & tire acid cleaner) GLE 350
Wheel Cleaning--------------------------Nanoskin Speedy Bright (organic wheel & tire acid cleaner
Paint Correction ------------------------ Porter Cable 7424xp DA polisher
-------------------------------------------Maguiar's D30016 Microfiber correction compound
-------------------------------------------Maguiar's DMC6 DA Microfiber 6 inch cutting disk
Paint Polish ------------------------------Maguiar's D30216 DA Microfiber Polish

Yeah, 5/8 minus driveway gravel. House sits roughly 50 yards off the road. Typically take it nice and slow.

Mine: 2014 E550 4matic; Hers: 2016 CLS 400 4matic
I did the same to my wife's CLS400 4matic except I hand polished and then put a coating on it. The car looks better than when we got it.
