I am eastern time here, the car does this light show during the update process, but it does not show the option under lighting. I verified with the german car that its does show the ILS option on the cluster, so I am at a loss.

Weren't you doing the testing for the pre-facelift, if so hopefully Vladimir can make some adjustments in the coding.

Any more updates on the Agility mode? Anyone having success or seeing a benefit ? I'm definitely going to buy the ILS but am really interested in that feature if it does anything useful.

It seems that W212 is gaining traction regarding the full activation of ILS via Vladimir module.
For now...I do not see a this item listed in ebay, like the MERCEDES COMAND Audio20 CarPlay+Android Auto OBD unlock activator 2016-2019 cars, and one has to email Vladimir directly sending one's VIN.
But I was curious if activating ILS can be done via activation for 10 and 20 cars single module possible.
Has anyone asked? Thought I'd ask the forum before I get in touch with Vladimir.
Also, if it is possible, any takers in participating?

I would be interested in that, but I would like to hear from Madman if and what the difference is first, 500 is to much for me but 50-150 I would consider if there is a big difference.

Although the listing doesn't include W212 in the title, it was the one I purchased my ILS module from after contacting Vladimir who confirmed my VIN would work. Like you, I also have a 2016 E-Class. As Vladmir writes in his listing:Q: My car is not in the list - may be it will work? A: send a vin number and we will let you know

I tested it a little bit on Saturday, and it works. I was trying to make a video but could not get the angles right, and ran out of time. I am out on a business trip until Wednesday. Should be able to get some b roll on Thursday and edited by Friday/Saturday.

True enough, but Masads asked, Madman says he may get to it by this weekend so we'll get to see the difference in the pre-facelift xenons and his thoughts on the improvement factor.

frankly the price is pretty steep for ILS alone (I would settle with the Adaptive Highbeam which I currently have). I would spend 450USD if it has the option to use all the cameras we have as sentry mode (just like in tesla) even when the engine is turned off. It can run on the aux battery leave the starter battery untouched.

For you guys deciding it is not worth it, that is of course up to you. However, having experienced my car with the regular adaptive high beam and now the full ILS, my opinion is that it is 100% worth the cost.

I whole heartily second this. I threw in a few other features, to make the purchase make sense at the time. However, now that I have the full ILS, I can honestly say it is worth the cost completely on it's own merits. The other features I unlocked, are merely bonus now.

maybe 1 hour a month.... in Summer
and 3 hours in winter total?
