You'd get a letter about "Safety" related recalls, but not service campaigns. MBUSA seems to avoid "recall" notices like the plague.

My campaign notice came as a letter in the mail as noted in the campaign thread. I called and had it taken care of.

My alignment is perfect... I'm reluctant to take the car to the dealer to have this addressed. Am I wrong to think this way?

My ticket says they did a toe adjustment and my alignment is also perfect. I would get it done if your car is in the campaign.

I live in dry climate, so corrosion is not an issue and even the car who come from salt belt is not showing any.
I don't go to dealer and the closest one is 20 miles away. I think I hold on the fix,

Well, this is my thought as well. Mine was a Florida car (2-years), and now a N. Texas car. Not much rust in either location...

The two nearest dealers to me are 11 and 20 miles away -- and they're just suburbs of the city I live it! I use the farther one, and get there in less than 30 minutes. I guess we get used to the "lay of the land" wherever we live.
