Seat stains

Hey Mercedes owners
New member here as a new owner of a 2014 E350 coupe, love the car and still getting to know it. Before asking this question I did try searching forum but no concrete answers. I realized that the rear seat seem to have some paint stains and tried using clorox wipes and water but nothing worked, which is the best solution to try remove the stains? Thanks

I always use leather cleaner with a detail brush. Look online for interior detail brushes, they are made safe for leather and get into the cracks and crevices to clean the leather. Currently using Megs leather detailer and protectant.

Without knowing what the stain is... start with a gentle cleaner and work towards something more aggressive. I'd start with a leather cleaner and bristle brush, then move up to diluted degreaser and brush, then I'd either try straight degreaser and a brush OR delicately agitating with a magic eraser [w/ diluted degreaser].

If I still didn't have progress, I'd start considering solvents with extreme care... or leave it alone (at risk of causing more damage than its work).

Sorry for the late reply but thanks for the advice! Would definitely look into those and post an update once they come in

It looks like the previous owner was a contractor/ home painter because when I turn on the Ac I do get paint odor and their are some small drops of white on the passenger seat but I will look into the leather cleaner

Does anyone have issues with die transfer from demin jeans? These days I wear blue jeans regularly, and am noticing the start of a blue discoloring on the driver's seat bottom left bolster. I've tried MB Interior Care, and Lexol Leather Care, both applied with paper towels... and neither one has worked. I am reluctant to use a brush for more aggressive action.

A Google search reveals this is a very widespread conundrum among car owners with leather and immitation leather (MB-Tex) seats. So I am sure someone (if not several) here have the same problem?

For leather I use Sonax Profile Foaming Cleaner and firm leather brush, followed by their conditioning cream. Colourlock has a very similar system (check out PanTheOrganizer on YT). For vinyl, my new favorite cleaner is P&S Interior Express applied with either MF towel or detail brush (boars hair), followed by 303 AP.

No reason to be worried about using a brush and a more aggressive leather/vinyl cleaner. Search Colourlock (OEM supplier of leather care to a few German automakers) and Sonax Profiline Leather... both use a stiff nylon brush to agitate the cleaner.
