Hello everyone. Thank you for having me in your wonderful community.
I have recently unclogged my front sunroof drains because I had a leak down the a-pillars in the front of the vehicle. Water now seems to be draining out of the front drain tubes at a slow but nevertheless existent pace. There was a hurricane here during the weekend and I noticed a pool of water behind the passenger seat. I had preventatively put a shower curtain over the sunroof to make sure that no excess water would go in there, but when I checked it this morning at the only water in the entire vehicle was behind the passenger seat. I left buckets near the a-pillars where it was leaking before just to be sure and there was not a drop anywhere on any of the carpets except for the rear passenger seat.
I have seen that there are also rear drain tubes for the sunroof and I'm wondering if maybe those are now clogged and leaking down the B pillars towards the bottom of the vehicle. I did notice that when I just went out there's a large puddle underneath the front drain areas and nothing seems to be coming from the back, which tells me that the front is draining very slowly and the rear may not be draining at all.
Is there anything I can do to check the rear drains or anything you guys can think that would be the cause of the water just being in the passenger rear and not on the driver's rear as well?
Correct in assuming associated drain to rear passenger seat location may be clogged. Follow general instructions in video for all four drains (one at each corner of the sunroof) also, read related thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...6-e-class.html

Thank you very much for the help. I did see the video and the related post before. I just wasn't sure how to even get to those rear drains, all the videos seem to be about the front drains.
Maybe I should remove the panels and get to the bottom of the rear drain and cut the sneeze valve like in the post...
The pinch valve is probably your issue as you stated. It doesn’t take much to clog them and back up water.
Is there a set of sneeze valves for the rear drains as well? Does anyone know where they end up? Or their exact location in the rear of the sunroof track?
You can locate rear drainage points by pouring water towards rear on driver side using method depicted in video. Here is a photo of drain grommet they differ from front and can easily become clogged, pull rear fender liners carefully releasing expansion rivets from center.

Ty sir. I'll have to remove the inner fender and take a look in there. So the drain tubes run rear of the door and not down the pillar in between the front and rear doors. Is it common for the drain tubes to become disconnected at any joints or is it one solid line?

If you park your car outside in an area with leaves and pine needles, use an air compressor a couple of times a year to blow out ALL drains. Modern cars bury lots of control modules down low in well areas and my mechanic is constantly having to replace/fix modules that have been submerged for weeks and the root cause is always the same: clogged drains.

Does anybody have a list of all drains that should be checked and cleaned on the W212?
For the engine bay drains, they're generally at the base corners of the windshield. You clean out all the crap, then use a hose and pour water down the windshield/a-pillar and watch to see if it drains successfully
